A WINSFORD man has been banned from driving while he awaits sentencing for getting behind the wheel while more than four times the alcohol limit.
David Parkinson, of Proudman Way, was caught in a Ford Fiesta on his home street earlier this year on March 24.
A breath test revealed the 50-year-old had 159 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of his breath, exceeding the limit of 35.
Appearing at Chester Magistrates Court on April 16, Parkinson pleaded guilty to drink-driving.
The bench handed him an interim driving disqualification before adjourning the hearing for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
Parkinson was granted unconditional bail and will return to the court on May 16 for sentencing.
