RESTAURANTS, golf clubs, hotels and tourist attractions around Cheshire are in the running for a national prize.
The finalists of the English Hospitality Awards 2024 have been revealed, with the county well represented.
Hosted by Creative Oceanic, the awards celebrate the nation’s hospitality industry with dozens of awards up for grabs.
It is in the award for ‘Best Dining Experience’ that Cheshire really stands out, making up seven of the ten finalists.
Among them is Il Padrino in Middlewich.
Owner Alberto Halluni said: “We thrive on being the best Italian in the area and have invested so much into Middlewich town and whilst we appreciate times are hard we keep fighting through.
“Receiving the news that we are a finalist in the English Hospitality Awards for Best Dining Experience, it truly makes everything worth it.
“We appreciate everyone's continued support and would love to win as we strongly feel we really are an authentic restaurant offering great food, great ambience, great staff and being the owner, I love being 100 per cent involved and giving our customers the very best they deserve.”
Also in the running is Giuliano in Handforth, which was last year named the county’s best restaurant at the Englands Business Awards.
Owner Lulzim Culaj said: “I would like to express how happy we are to be voted by the public once again!
“It's amazing that our clients are recognising our hard work and dedication!
“I would like to thank everyone who named us as a finalist! We are so proud that Giuliano has become a go-to restaurant!”
