A RIVERSIDE pub has temporarily closed.
The Leigh Arms in Little Leigh is shut this week as work gets started on resurfacing the car park.
Sat on the banks of the River Weaver right by Acton Bridge, the popular pub and restaurant won't be back open until the weekend.
A post on the pub's website reads: "Customer notice - We are closed from Tuesday 19th until Friday 22nd March.
"We are having a nice new car park!
"Sorry for any inconvenience.
"Normal service will resume on Saturday 23rd March!"
Once reopened the pub has a busy month in store, with a charity quiz night on March 25 before a performance by cover band, Bohemian Kings, on March 28.
