A WOMAN has been taken to hospital following a crash.
Emergency services were called to Nantwich Road in Tarporley this morning after a three-vehicle crash.
Firefighters took care of a woman in her 40s before paramedics arrived.
North West Ambulance Service has now confirmed that the woman has been taken to hospital with "suspected serious injuries".
Nantwich Road was shut at the junction with Four Lane Ends until 11am on Monday (March 11).
Cheshire Police had been called to the scene shortly after 8.30am,
Upon arrival, they found a blue Volkswagen T-Roc, a black Volvo V90 and a blue Volkswagen Transport had been involved in the crash..
A spokesperson said: "At 8.34am on Monday, March 11, police were called to reports of a collision at Four Lane Ends, near Tarporley.
"Officers attended and found the collision involved a blue Volkswagen T-Roc, a black Volvo V90 and a blue Volkswagen Transporter.
"The road was been closed while officers dealt with the incident. The road reopened at 11am."
Two Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service engines, one each from Tarporley and Nantwich, also attended.
A CFRS spokesperson said: "One casualty was released by firefighters and handed over to the care of paramedics."
