BLUE Peter will feature some familiar sights this week.
Pupils from Cledford Primary School in Middlewich star in the next episode of the long-running children’s TV show.
Four students were invited to join space scientist Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock at Jodrell Bank to conduct experiments and celebrate the launch of her new book - Am I Made of Stardust?
Headteacher Chris Adlington said: “Cledford Primary School believe that reading is the key to learning.
“Having some of our pupils take part in the Blue Peter Book Club and meet inspirational people such as Dr Maggie really ignites learning and an interest in books and science.”
Cledford Primary School was contacted by the Blue Peter production team who were looking for some youngsters to take part in an upcoming episode.
Mr Adlington asked teachers to nominate 30 Key Stage Two pupils with a love for reading and science.
These students met the Blue Peter team, who picked four lucky winners to appear in the show.
Angus Eustace, Ieuan Graham, Alice Stubbs. Lilly-Anne Pheasey and Mr Adlington were collected by a VIP taxi on Monday (February 26) ahead of a busy day of filming.
Upon arrival, the kids got mic’d up and met Blue Peter presenter Joel Mawhinney.
Dr Maggie arrived and showed the school pupils around the Lovell Telescope before helping them make a comet and space ice cream.
To see more of what they got up to, watch Blue Peter on CBBC this Friday (March 1) at 5pm.
The episode will also feature the Harlem Globetrotters and TikTok star Big Manny.
