HUNDREDS of people lined the streets to watch a big charity tractor run trundle through Northwich today.
Children waved and crowds cheered as a cavalcade of colourful tractors made their way through various country villages.
The parade started at The Antrobus Arms on Warrington Road.
Families were delighted to see tractors of all shapes and sizes go by.
Stretton Young Farmers will share the proceeds between the club and a charity that means a lot to its members, The British Heart Foundation.
Around 70 vintage and modern tractors took part in the event.
Hannah Reade, vice chairman of Stretton YFC, said: “Heart attacks that strike without warning, stokes that shatter futures, newborn babies born with broken hearts.
“These are just some of the cruelties of cardiovascular disease.
“And the brutal reality is, there is so much more for science to discover before we can beat the world’s biggest killers.
“That’s why the British Heart Foundation exists to fund research.”
Tractors travelled from the Antrobus Arms to Appleton Thorn, Stretton, Hatton, Little Leigh, Barnton, Anderton, Comberbach, Marston, Wincham, Pickmere, Great Budworth and Antrobus.
