A NEW escape room is opening at Delamere Forest.
Cheshire Police has partnered with CGI to launch Cyber Escape Room.
Housed within a 40ft shipping container at the popular beauty spot, it is hoped to raise awareness of online safety and cyber security.
“The first line of defence in keeping everyone safe online is improving personal security awareness,” said a spokesperson for Cheshire Police.
“Over the past decade, escape rooms have become popular adventures for friends and families.
“Within the time allowed, participants look for clues, solve puzzles and decipher riddles to earn their escape.”
They added: “The Cyber Escape Room experience was developed to train, educate and engage with people to help understand cyber security risks; compliment any existing security awareness training, and increase knowledge of how to reduce the impact of a cyber-attack whilst having some fun.”
You will have to act quickly if you want to take on the challenge as it is only opening for a limited time.
Cyber Escape Room will run for four days from April 15 to April 19.
It is free to attend and open to teams of three to seven people aged 18 and above.
