A SALON is to undergo a major refurbishment after celebrating its birthday.

Fox Hairdressing, on Chester Road in Northwich, reached its 10th anniversary in 2023.

Now, owners Adam Fox and Matt Thomas are looking to freshen things up.

Matt said: “We last did a refurbishment over six years ago and we both felt that when we hit the 10th anniversary it was the perfect time to start planning a totally new look and a fresh new space for 2024 and the next 10-year chapter for Fox.”

Adam, from Northwich, started his hairdressing career when he was just 15 years old.

He met Matt, also from Northwich, in 2007 and they decided to set up their own business in 2013.

“Although it was just a dream at the time, we had talked for a number of years about Fox Hairdressing and what we wanted to create,” said Matt.

“So, when it actually became a reality we were just so unbelievably proud, we worked very hard to turn it from a dream into reality.”

Reflecting on reaching their 10th birthday, he added: “We were and still are so overwhelmed and grateful for all the amazing support we have had from our loyal clients and team, along with friends and family, through all the years.

“We have amazing clients and team members who have been with us for many years, some from the very beginning and they have been part of the journey with us, watching the salon grow and evolve into what it is today.

“This made reaching our 10th anniversary feel so special as we’ve shared so much together through those years.

“The salon has achieved so much in the last 10 years including winning numerous industry awards, we simply couldn’t be any prouder of everything that has been accomplished by Team Fox.”

The designs of the refurbishment are now being finalised, with the makeover due to get underway later this year.
