A NINETIES boyband will take to the stage in Northwich this summer.
Chester 7s, a sports and music festival, has announced its first act.
Five, who achieved a UK number one with ‘Keep on Movin’’, will entertain the crowds at Winnington Park Rugby Club, organisers have revealed.
Having been formed in 1997 by the team behind the Spice Girls, the band is now made up of Ritchie Neville, Scott Robinson and Sean Conlon.
They follow in the footsteps of Scott Mills, Chris Stark, Martin Kemp, and Judge Jules in having performed at Chester 7s.
The rest of the 2024 lineup is set to be revealed over the coming weeks.

Alongside the music is a range of rugby and netball tournaments, with over 100 teams of all levels and abilities set to take part.
Chester 7s, which takes place over the weekend of June 28 and 29, claims to be one of the fastest-growing festivals in the UK.
“We provide a fun, exciting, and competitive weekend for party-loving sports and music fans,” the event’s website reads.
The 2024 festival is our 12th festival, and we’re excited to be introducing a much broader programme this year.
“We have 30 acres of land to use, and the sports and entertainment are the best in the north of England.”
