A SCHOOL has been forced to shut due to boiler issues.
Hebden Green School in Winsford is closed today (January 15).
This decision was made as a result of no heating or hot water at the school.
An "urgent" notice on Hebden Green's Facebook page read: "Hebden will be closed today to all pupils.
"We have no heating or hot water.
"If this changes when the engineers arrive we will update.
"We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this will cause."
The issues with heating come amid freezing temperatures in Winsford.
According to the Met Office, it will be 1C come 11am but will feel like -4C.
Tonight, temperatures will drop to -4C with a feels like of -6C.
