A MYSTERY winner is a million pounds richer after scooping a huge lottery windfall.

The lucky man, referred to only as Mr R from Cheshire, has become a millionaire after scooping a whopping £1 million prize.

The cash haul was won in the EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker draw on Friday, December 1.

It has not been confirmed where in Cheshire the winning ticket was bought and claimed, and where in the county the fortunate winner is from.

However, he has become one of more than eight million players that win each week on The National Lottery’s range of games.
