A FIRE investigation has taken place at an address in Winsford after a shed full of paints went up in flames.
Crews from Northwich, Winsford and Middlewich were dispatched to the scene in Stirling Close at around 12pm today.
On arrival, the firefighters discovered the shed contained a large amount of oil and water-based paints.
After extinguishing the blaze, an investigation revealed the cause to have been accidental.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Two hose reel jets were used by firefighters in breathing apparatus to put out a fire in a shed.
"The outbuilding contained a large amount of oil and water based paints.
"The crews then monitored the area for hotspots. Following an investigation the cause of the fire was found to be accidental."
