A NEW restaurant is hoping to open its doors in a Cheshire village, if it can raise £100,000.
Little Tap, a beer bar and small plates restaurant in Tarporley High Street, has shared more information abouts its latest venture.
The food side of the business will soon be moving just across the road into a new venue called Terrarium, with the original Little Tap focusing on craft beer.
Owner Myles Carr said: “A Terrarium is a self-contained eco system, a bubble if you will, and that’s what we want to create. A space that you can come and eat amazing food, drink beautiful drinks and socialise in a relaxed and vibrant atmosphere.
“Terrarium will be a new restaurant, in our second site, inspired by what we have created at Little Tap and allow us to offer more of a dining experience to really showcase our food and free up Little Tap, to offer more flexibility on social drinks.”

Little Tap was opened in a former butcher’s shop in 2016.
However, for Myles this was always just step one of the dream and in November he signed the lease for a new unit, which was until recently home to clothing boutique Rebel and Rain.
It is hoped that work will start in the new year ahead of a launch in spring 2024.
However, for any of this to happen Myles needs to raise £100,000.
As such, he has launched a Kickstarter which has already received more than £45,000 in pledges from 130 backers.
Anyone who makes a pledge will see that money returned to them when Terrarium opens in the form of a voucher.
The £100,000 would cover renovations, contractor fees and everything else needed to get Terrarium up to the standard Myles desires.
He said: "The money we receive from the pledges will be going towards the building work, furnishing and implementation of the new site.
“We want to create a really special dining space that really showcases our food, all whilst keeping our informal atmosphere.
“The opening of Terrarium would be a great addition to an already vibrant village, it would create new job opportunities, more choice for social and another community focused venue for everyone to enjoy.”
