STRICTLY Come Dancing stars Janette Manrara and Aljaž Škorjanec could soon be moving the stunning countryside of Cheshire.
The professional dancers, who welcomed their first child earlier this year, are set to appear on the celebrity spin-off of Escape to the Country.
Last week, the BBC and Naked West (a Fremantle label) announced five special episodes of the beloved house-hunting show.
To air later this month, Celebrity Escape to the Country will see a host of well-known faces, such as the nation's favourite panto star Christopher Biggins, Bucks Fizz singer Cheryl Baker, The Chase's Jenny 'The Vixen' Ryan and TV health professional Dr Ranj Singh, hoping to make a countryside relocation.
In their episode, which will be on BBC One on December 27, Janette and Aljaž will join Sonali Shah to 'comb seriously chic Cheshire for their forever family home'.
The couple will discover 'beautiful properties that blend period charm with contemporary design' and also enjoy a 'spot of Strictly Come Prancing with some miniature horses'.
Julie Shaw, commissioning editor, BBC Daytime and Factual, said: "Escape to the Country has been a staple in the BBC daytime schedule for 21 years.
"Audiences love this programme and watching the journeys the house-hunters go on, so it was about time we got to go house hunting with some famous faces.
"I can’t wait for this to land in the schedules."
John Comerford, head of Naked West, added: "We love helping prospective rural dwellers find their dream homes and we’re delighted the BBC have commissioned this special series giving us all an insight into our favourite celebrities’ lives as they look to swap the city for a new home in the country."
First launching in 2002, the BBC’s longest running property show Escape to the Country has showcased an idyllic look into rural Britain’s property market, giving urban homeowners an insight into a prospective country life.
Guided by the property experts, the buyers decide whether or not to swap the hustle and bustle of city living in favour of the slower quietude of the countryside.
The celebrity specials will be on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in December.
Watch Janette and Aljaž on Celebrity Escape to the Country on Wednesday, December 27 at 6.45pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
