POLICE have named a Knutsford man charged after a dawn drugs raid saw 110 residents evacuated from their homes.
Ashlea Henderson was one of five men and one woman arrested after police raided an address on Longridge at 7am on Monday, November 27.
The 29-year-old has since been charged with possessing poisons – sulphuric and hydrochloric acids – without a licence.
Bomb disposal experts spent all day working to identify the nature of the substances and a 100-metre cordon was put in place for seven hours.
Elderly and infirm residents and young families had to leave their homes, and a reception centre was set up at Knutsford Leisure Centre to look after them.
Henderson, of Longridge, was remanded in custody, and is set to appear before Chester magistrates this morning (November 29).
Four other men, aged 23, 24, 24, and 58, along with a 22-year-old woman, have all been released on police bail.
