CHRISTMAS is coming to Middlewich.
The town is preparing to welcome the holiday season with its annual lights switch on, organised by the town council.
Market stalls, funfair rides and the sounds of Christmas carols will fill the streets of Middlewich on Saturday (November 25), with festivities getting underway at 3pm.
Wheelock Street and The Bullring will play host to Santa’s Grotto, dance performances, competitions, a mini market and a funfair.
Then at 5pm, St Michael’s Church will welcome visitors for a carol service.
The festive day culminates with the lights switch on at 7pm, as the town transforms into a winter wonderland ahead of the start of Advent.
