FIREFIGHTERS tackled a house fire on a Northwich street.
Crews from Middlewich and Winsford were called out to Cookes Lanes, Broken Cross, at 2.15pm on Tuesday, November 14.
The fire originated on the ground floor of the property and is believed not to have spread elsewhere.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters were called to a house fire on Cookes Lane in Northwich.
“On arrival they found a fire on the ground floor of a property.
“They used breathing apparatus and two reel jets to extinguish the fire.
“An investigation into the cause of the fire will be carried out.”
