THE 10 roads given the most parking tickets by Cheshire West and Chester Council have been revealed.

A total of 30,491 penalty charge notices (PCNs) were handed out in the borough in 2022, data obtained from the council under the Freedom of Information Act shows.

The unitary authority collected £961,091 from parking tickets last year.

The data shows that Chester is among the top CWAC locations for PCNs, with seven of its streets among the 10 most-ticketed roads in the area.

Top of the pile is Hough Green, a bus lane in the city, where 2,947 fines were handed out in 2022.
