FAMILIES are being invited to enjoy live folk music as a 'major talent' singer-songwriter returns to Davenham for the third time.
M G Boulter, lauded by former BBC Radio 1 DJ Andy Kershaw, will be performing at the Davenham Players Theatre in Church Street on Friday, December 1.
The show will draw from his latest EP, 'A Shadow Falls Over New Brighton' and will feature songs from his acclaimed recent album, 'Clifftown', alongside other tunes old and new from an upcoming album set for release sometime in 2024.
In his praise of Boulter, Andy Kershaw said: "He's a major talent in my opinion.
"It's an outstanding album - it's the best new record I've heard all year. Well done M G, you can come play in my kitchen any time."
Boulter will be joined by 'builder by day, musician by night' James Biddulph Jr, who is making his second appearance at the the theatre.
Biddulph Jr has been playing for almost 30 years, entertaining audiences as a soloist and as member of two bands he's part of.
Tickets are available online at £12.10, with all monies raised by sales going to the artists and the theatre.
They can also by purchased by calling 07510 853 589. Doors open at 7.30pm ahead of an 8pm start.
