NORTHWICH’S newest bar opens this week.
After months of anticipation, The Dockyard opens at Barons Quay on Thursday (November 2).
The bar, part of a chain across the north west, will feature a variety of games as well as craft beers and woodfired pizza.
General manager Dan Baker can’t wait to get started.
“We are delighted to be finally opening our doors this week!" he said.
“We’ve worked tirelessly to bring something we think everyone will be able to enjoy.
“The Dockyard Barons Quay will be the perfect spot for mates to hang out, chilled weekends with the family or a fun destination date nights.
“We are really excited to meet everyone in the coming weeks.”
Dockyard is a chain of bars which can be found in Media City, Spinningfields and Didsbury.
It was announced that the company would be opening its latest venue in Northwich back in July, taking over the unit previously home to Barons Quay Social.
The first photos from inside The Dockyard Barons Quay show several shuffleboards, retro arcade games, a roof terrace, interactive darts and pool tables.
Among those looking forward to the opening is MP for Weaver Vale, Mike Amesbury.
He said: “Exciting news, The Dockyard Barons Quay is opening this week.
“Great to see this investment coming into Northwich!
“A rustic ale house with pizza oven, shuffleboard, 8-ball pool, interactive darts, live music and a rooftop bar!”
The launch night for The Dockyard takes place on Thursday (November 2), with the bar fully opening from the following day.

It follows the opening of Wild Tots last week, which was also announced in July by the Northern Lights Group.
The adventure play area now occupies the former unit of Sticky Paws and features a range of play equipment suitable for children of all ages including a slide, bridges, tunnels, plenty to climb on and areas made especially for babies.
There is also a varied menu on offer, featuring buddha bowls, burgers, pasta and sweet treats.
