A STAFF member was injured when a car crashed into a garage.
National Tyres and Autocare in Northwich is currently closed after a Volvo crashed into the reception.
Halford, the parent company of National, has confirmed a member of staff had to be taken to hospital as a result of the incident.
"Yesterday (October 24), an unfortunate incident occurred at our Northwich branch," said a Halfords National spokesperson.
" A colleague sustained injuries but has since been discharged from the hospital and is on the path to recovery.
"We appreciate the swift response from local authorities.
"Our Northwich branch will return to regular business hours tomorrow (October 26) and we remain dedicated to delivering the quality service you expect."
The silver Volvo C70 crashed into National's reception on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency services arrived at the garage on New Warrington Road shortly before 6pm.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "At around 5.55pm on Tuesday, police were called to reports of a collision on New Warrington Road, Northwich.
"Officers attended the scene and found that a silver Volvo C70 had collided with a building.
"There were no reports of any injuries and no arrests were made."
Cheshire Fire and Rescue have been contacted for more information.
