MYSTERIOUS lights have been spotted in the skies above Cheshire.
A photo taken by Winsford resident Sarah Bray at around 7.49pm on Sunday night shows an unusual trail of lights in the night sky.
It is believed the lights belong to the Starlink satellite constellation, operated by SpaceX.
Starlink uses around 5,000 satellites to beam a broadband signal down to Earth and is being used as part of a UK Government trial to connect rural homes and isolated areas to better internet service.
According to the Starlink website, it is the world's first and largest satellite constellation.
The website adds: "Leveraging advanced satellites and user hardware coupled with our deep experience with both spacecraft and on-orbit operations, Starlink delivers high-speed, low-latency internet to users all over the world."
SpaceX was co-founded by Elon Musk and is responsible for the design, manufacture and launch of advanced rockets and spacecrafts.
