A DRUNK driver who was over five times the limit has been jailed.
Kevin Clarke has been sentenced to 12 weeks in prison after admitting to drink driving.
The 38-year-old was caught driving a Ford Transit Connect along Woodpecker Drive in Northwich whilst over the limit on August 13.
When tested, the proportion of alcohol in his breath was 187 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35 micrograms.
Clarke, of Boundary Lane North in Cuddington, pleaded guilty at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (September 26) and was sentenced to 12 weeks.
He has also been disqualified from driving for 36 months.
