A FESTIVAL will return to a historic venue following a surge in attendance.
Deva Fest will take place at Cholmondeley Castle Gardens next summer, organisers have confirmed.
The family-friendly event welcomed more than 15,000 visitors this year, with Saturday “exceeding expectations” with around 6,000 flocking to watch the likes of Will Young and Fleur East.
Festival founder Phil Marston is already in discussions with potential acts for the 2024 edition.
He said: “It’s crazy to think our festival, now heading into its fourth year, is attracting visitors from places like Germany and France.
“We’re delighted to see our selection of artists and entertainment is reaching further afield and putting Cheshire on the festival map.
“We have a few tricks up our sleeve for next year and exciting conversations already in the pipeline to really take 2024’s festival up a notch.”
Deva Fest will take place between August 8 and 11 at Cholmondeley Castle Gardens, having pitched up at the historic venue for the first time this year.
Once again there will be a variety of music, comedy and entertainment spread across multiple stages, along with free-to-use fairground rides.
This year will also see the party get started a day early, with guests now able to purchase weekend camping tickets with the option to arrive a night before the festival fully opens.
With attendees arriving from all over the UK and many from Europe as well, organisers hope this will help anyone travelling from further afield to make the most of the event.
Feedback forms from the 2023 event revealed that nearly 97 per cent of festival-goers would recommend it to a friend.
Festival founder Phil added: “Our guest experience is always a top priority for us. Taking the time to listen to feedback and comments, and putting what we can into action for improvements year on year, is how we set ourselves apart from the rest.
“We were astounded with the turnout this summer, and the positive feedback, both from attendees and artists, was sensational. A lot of the work behind-the-scenes goes unnoticed, but we’re always striving to make everyone’s time at Deva Fest unforgettable.
“We can’t wait to announce more exciting news soon!”
Presale tickets for Deva Fest 2024 are on sale from the event’s website now.
