A BAR in Northwich's town centre has hit the market.
Baron’s Lounge, on Witton Street, has been listed for sale by Williams Sillitoe.
With a guide price of £205,000, the unit is a fully fitted bar spread over two floors with a total size of 861 sq ft.
The listing on Rightmove reads: “The ground floor of the property has most recently utilised as a bar and so comprise a fully fitted bar and large seating area, with a toilet to the rear.
“The first floor consists of an additional seating area, a further toilet and storage room.
“A courtyard to the rear of the property offers a space for outside seating or parking.”
It continues: "The property is located on Witton Street which is the main pedestrianised shopping street in the centre of Northwich.
"The building is immediately adjacent to the new pedestrian access created to link the centre of Northwich to the new Barons Quay cinema, leisure and retail complex.
"The property is ideally located to benefit from the major investment in the Barons Quay development and the surrounding area.
"The rear of 13 Witton Street faces directly toward Barons Quay."
Baron’s Lounge opened at the end of 2017 and enjoyed early success but appears to have shut for good earlier this year.
It had been included in the 2022 edition of The Good Beer Guide and regularly hosted live music and quiz nights.
The bar’s Facebook page states it is permanently closed, with no social media posts since March.
It is up for sale at a price of £205,000 but there is also a rental option, priced at £16,500 per annum.
