FIREFIGHTERS had to remove the passenger door of a vehicle to rescue a casualty after a three-car crash.
Fire crews from Northwich, Winsford, and Tarporley rushed to Yeld Lane, near Kelsall, at 10.46am today, Friday, following reports of a collision.
Paramedics from Northwest Ambulance Service also attend.
Firefighters had to use specialist kit to take off the passenger door of one of the cars before one of a casualty inside could be removed.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue service said: “Crews were called to a road traffic collision involving three vehicles on Yeld Lane, Northwich, at 10.46am.
“Firefighters used specialist equipment to remove the passenger door of one of the vehicles so that a casualty could get out.
“The vehicles were made safe.
“Paramedics were also in attendance.”
