MORE details about a new bar opening in Northwich have been revealed.
Gasworks Immersive will soon be opening at Barons Quay, taking over the former Barons Quay Social.
It will be the latest addition to Dockyard, a chain of bars with locations in Media City, Spinningfields and Didsbury.
Operations support manager for Dockyard, George Horsley, has confirmed the latest venture will feature all the best bits of their existing venues.
“We are thrilled about coming to Northwich and the Barons Quay development and can’t wait to open our doors to the public and start working with the community to create something exciting!” he said.

Mr Horsley continued: “Barons Quay will be an amalgamation of three of our existing sites.
“Firstly, we have a gaming bar in Didsbury called ‘1UP’ which is a new concept of ours combining good food and drink with gaming of all kinds.
“It features arcades, pinball, console gaming, UV Ping-Pong, boardgames, D&D and also sells trading cards. A lot of these elements will feature heavily in our site at Barons Quay.
“The second influence comes from ‘The Gasworks Brewbar’, which is a beer-centric site with the fun elements of shuffleboard tables and is also soon to have interactive darts.
“These entertaining aspects will be a focus feature in Northwich with at least two full-length shuffleboard tables, and at least two, possibly three, bookable interactive darts booths.
“Our third and final influence will come from our flagship site, ‘The Dockyard’, mostly for it’s unique, rustic design aesthetic and warm, welcoming atmosphere.”

The Barons Quay venue is set to open in early Autumn, although this is subject to change.
Mr Horsley also confirmed there is a “surprise element” that is being kept under wraps for the time being.
He added: “We have always prided ourselves on delivering good food, great beer, and now a vast array of entertainment aspects to all our sites.
“Northwich customers should expect a competitive social area with pool tables, shuffleboards, interactive darts, and other fun gaming elements.
“There will also be another surprise element to our bar that we are keeping quiet to the public for now but will be announced shortly before opening.”
