FITNESS is a way of life for many people with so many sports, activities and classes available to keep our energy levels up and our minds and bodies healthy.
With Zumba classes, HIIT sessions and kick boxing as well as yoga, pilates and spin on offer, fitness fanatics are spoilt for choice.
But which of Mid Cheshire’s top gyms provides the best service?
Where do you go for a workout?
Our search to find Mid Cheshire’s Best for Fitness 2023, which was won by Simon Daniels, had an overwhelming response so we have decided to launch a separate bid to find Mid Cheshire’s Best Gym.
In our Best of 2023 campaign, we’ve given out 14 awards so far in Mid Cheshire for hair, nails, beauty, fitness, tattoos and breakfast, pies, roast dinner, pizza, fish and chips, dessert and cocktails as well pets and independent shop or business.
Voting is currently taking place to find Mid Cheshire’s Best for Kids, with the vote closing at midnight on Monday, July 31.
Next up, we want to know where is your perfect place for a workout?
Who will win Mid Cheshire’s Best Gym 2023?
Tell us which of the area’s gyms should make our shortlist and then the overall winner will be decided by you, our readers.
HOW IT WORKS:
Each Friday morning we will reveal new categories via our social media pages and ask you who is the best. Nominations will then close each Monday morning at 12pm.
Every Thursday we will publish a shortlist of finalists with voting officially opening.
You will be able to vote in one of three ways:
- By commenting under the relevant post on our Mid Cheshire Guardian Facebook or Twitter pages = 1 vote
- By entering via the online article on our Mid Cheshire Guardian website = 2 votes
- By entering via our Mid Cheshire Guardian newspaper = 5 votes
The following Wednesday evening we will announce the winner of that category on social media.
Usual Newsquest competition rules apply.

So, get in touch with your nominations and tell us who is amazing enough to be one of our finalists.
To make your nomination go to facebook.com/northwichguardian, facebook.com/winsfordandmiddlewichguardian or facebook.com/knutsfordguardiannews, or find us on Twitter @northwichnews, @winsfordnews or knutsfordnews
Alternatively, you can email your nomination, telling us the name of the gym, where it’s based and why they deserve to be shortlisted, to heidi.summerfield@newsquest.co.uk
Don’t forget to keep an eye on our website and our social media each Friday morning, when we will launch a new Best of 2023 search and then every Thursday to vote for your favourite from our shortlist.
