THIS dramatic picture shows a crane clearing a main road of giant stacks of concrete after a lorry shed its load.
The A533 was closed for several hours in both directions in Dutton yesterday, Friday, July 21, after a HGV crash.
This busy road is a main link between Runcorn and Northwich.
Police were called at around 1pm after a lorry overturned, shedding its load.
The huge load included 8.5 metre x 4.5 metre concrete blocks weighing around 19 tonnes in total.
A crane was called to assist with recovery.
Police say there were no reports of any injuries.
The road was closed in both directiions from the A49 Tarporley Road to the A533 roundabout at Rivington Road in Preston Brook.
Cheshire Police Bike Cops who were helping to control traffic at the scene shared this picture on social media.
