A HISTORIC hotel and restaurant is set to close temporarily.
The Bear’s Paw in Warmingham, south of Middlewich, will shut for ten days as “essential” works are carried out.
A member of staff at the inn, which dates back to the 19th century, said: “The works which will be taking place are essential maintenance to the drains of the property during which we cannot remain open and welcome guests, unfortunately.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and look forward to welcoming guests once our works are completed!"
Both the hotel and the restaurant at the Bear’s Paw, on School Lane, will be closed from Monday, August 14, until Thursday, August 24.
