A WINSFORD shop is offering a special 1p deal to thank its customers for their support.

The Your Local convenience store in High Street is offering a deal in which its online customers are able to get ‘packed lunch bundles’ with a number of necessities.

For just a penny via the Snappy Shopper app, you will be able to get a bottle of cordial, six packs of crisps, a loaf, jam, Jaffa cakes, two cereal bars, and some fruit.

Charlotte Williams, owner of the store, said she wanted to do something to show her gratitude for her customers' support during her two years in business.

The 47-year-old said: “We want to help people as much as we can.

"Everything is just so expensive now, prices at every supermarket are going up and up.

"When we took over, we never thought the local supermarkets would get so expensive.

"As a community shop, we wanted to give something back and felt this was a great opportunity to be involved in this scheme.

"The deal is through our delivery app Snappy Shopper, but we decided to extend it beyond a week and run it for four weeks in the run up to the summer holidays.

The 1p shopper deal will run until Thursday, July 20 and can be accessed via the Snappy Shopper app. Other deals are also available on the store's website.
