A WINCHAM artist whose massive collection outgrew his house has found a new home in an unlikely place. Eighty-year-old Bill Martin has been sketching for most of his life, meaning his home in Hewitt Grove had become something of a gallery.
After an appeal in the Guardian to find somewhere else to display his artwork, Phill Charlton, owner of the Car & Van Shop in Manchester Road, Lostock, said Bill could use the walls in his shop. His work is now on display there and is available for sale.
