A NORTHWICH man will appear in court accused of illegal foxhunting in Cheshire.
The 37-year-old faces will face two charges of hunting wild animals with dogs under the Hunting Act 2004.
The prosecution comes after an investigation by members of Cheshire Police’s rural crime team.
One charge related to events which occurred in Marbury on Saturday, November 26, 2022, and another relates to an incident in Chorley Green on Tuesday, November 22, the same year.
He has been summonsed by postal requisition to appear at Crewe Magistrates Court on June 13, where he will be formally charged.
Until then, he cannot be named.
