It is just days away from the Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort - and here are some of the events taking place in Mid Cheshire to celebrate the occasion.
Northwich Barons Quay
On Sunday, May 7, there will be a day of live music in the heart of Northwich at Barons Quay, including Roberts Bakery Brass Band and Northwich Uke Club.
Admission is free and live music from local acts begins at 11am.
At 12pm, you have two options; head to Northwich Library and follow the Roberts Bakery Brass Band parade down to Barons Quay, or stay put and enjoy the Northwich Uke Club, who will warm up the stage before the parade arrives at 12.30pm.
After the parade, you can enjoy back-to-back live music for the rest of the afternoon and pre-ordered afternoon tea.

Northwich Quay Marina
From 2pm on Saturday, May 6, Northwich Quay Marina will be hosting a free buffet and live streaming of the coronation.
Rudheath
Saturday, May 6, will see St John’s Playing Field in Rudehath transformed into a village showground for ‘Picnic in the Park’.
Sunday, May 7, will see two football matches kicking-off at 10.30am and 2pm.
The afternoon match will include Emmerdale and Hollyoaks stars, with demonstrations from a cheerleading group, boxing club, and a hula hoop fitness expert.
The national Big Help Out takes place on Monday, May 8, a chance for people to get involved in volunteering in their local communities, so residents are encouraged to return to the playing fields to lend a hand with the clear-up and do some park maintenance.
Witton Albion
Head down to the U Lock It Stadium – home to Witton Albion FC – on Saturday, May 6 from 11am for afternoon tea while watching the coronation live.

Anderton Boat Lift
A steam festival is taking place across the bank holiday weekend from 10am till 4pm each day.
There will be a large TV screen in the marquee, at the bottom of the lift, to watch the coronation on Saturday.
Arley Hall
Enjoy a picnic under the bunting at the festively decorated tables in the stable yard at Arley Hall and Gardens on Sunday, May 7, from 10.30am until 4pm.
You can bring your own picnic or food bought from The Gardener’s Kitchen Café to enjoy outside at your table.
There will be live music and admission is normal garden entry, no need to book.
Winsford schools
In Winsford, schoolchildren from local schools, organised by the Winsford Education Partnership and Winsford Town Council, will form a parade around Town Park on Friday, May 5, at 10am led by the Winsford Town Crier.
The parade will showcase a large crown which has been designed to represent all thirteen schools in Winsford working together in celebration of the coronation.
The parade will be followed by a service at St Andrews Church which is invitation only - the service will include viewing of the crown.
Winsford
There will be a ’big community get-together’ in St John's Community Centre to celebrate the coronation.
As well as a coronation buffet, there will be lots of activities for all the family to enjoy, including a bouncy castle, bouncy slide, DJ, performances from Anyone Aloud community Choir and an award for the best dressed king and queen.

Winsford
St John’s Church, Over, is hosting a flower festival to celebrate the coronation.
It will be on display at a special service to celebrate the coronation at 10.30am on Sunday, May 7.
It will then be open from 1pm – 5pm on the same day, and then 2pm – 4pm, Tuesday to Friday in the following week.
Tarporley
There will be a free community event taking place along Tarporley High Street to celebrate the King's coronation from 2pm on May 7.
Middlewich
The Middlewich Youthie King’s Coronation Event will take place on May 6 from 12pm - 4pm at Market Field and the Wych Centre.
There will plenty for families to enjoy, including a disco, bouncy castle, fancy dress competition, a large screen to watch the coronation, refreshments and much more.
Admission is free.
Knutsford
A coronation barn dance and fun day will be held on The Heath on Saturday, May 6, from 2pm to 6pm.
There will be live music, games, a barbecue and licensed bar.
Admission is free but charges will apply for food and drinks.
Mobberley
A ‘right royal knees up’ is being held at Victory Hall and Memorial Club on Saturday, May 6, from 6pm to 11.30pm.
Residents are invited to come in royal fancy dress.
Tickets priced £10 adults and £7.50 children will include a hog roast, first drink and ice cream.

Orienteering is being held on the community meadow on Sunday, May 7 at 11am.
A volunteering and bulb planting day takes place on Monday, May 8 as part of the Big Mobberley Help Out.

Lower Peover
A coronation celebration picnic is being held in a marquee off Foxcovert Lane, Lower Peover, from 12 noon on Sunday, May 7.
Residents are invited to bring their own picnic and drinks.
Wilmslow
A community coronation celebration is being held in Wilmslow on Sunday, May 7 from 12 noon to 4pm.
Road closures have been arranged to provide a safe space for families and friends to relax and enjoy the day with music, activities and stalls.
Entertainment will include Punch and Judy, crazy golf, crafts and funfair style games.
‘Big Help Out’ events will take place on Monday, May 8 at Wilmslow Community Market Garden at Oakenclough.
Activities will include potato planting, seed sowing, wally wanging, worm charming, live music and games.
A litter pick will start at 10am at the parish hall car park.
Holmes Chapel
A big lunch is being held at Holmes Chapel village centre on Sunday, May 7, from 1pm to 3.30pm.
Residents are invited to bring a picnic or buy food from local hospitality venues.
London Road will be closed to set out tables.
A brass band, roaming musician and balloon artist will provide entertainment.
