NORTHWICH has gone through some major changes in recent years, so we've created these graphics to highlight key locations in the town which have undergone a transformation.
Check out the pictures below by moving the slider to reveal what Northwich looks like now and a few years ago, according to Google Maps.
All images are credited to Google Maps/street view.
The first image shows Apple Market Place which used to house the old market plot.
The slider shows the location in 2015 and what it looked like in 2022.
The second image shows Waitrose on London Road, pictured in 2022.
This site used to house the Regal Cinema, which stood for 74 years.
The iconic cinema was forced to close on January 5, 2007, and was demolished six years later in 2013.
It is pictured below in 2009.
The third image shows the addition of Barons Quay.
Picture in 2022, you can adjust the slider to see what the same site looked like back in 2009, seven years before Barons Quay opened its doors for the first time in 2016.
Our last image in this collection shows Northwich Memorial Court in 2022 after it took the place of Northwich Memorial Hall.
You can see the hall pictured in 2009.
