A NORTHWICH woman has appeared in court accused of making threats to dig up someone’s drains.
Sharon O’Neill, of Runcorn Road, Barnton, attended Chester Magistrates Court on Friday, April 21 following incidents on February 8 and 11, 2022.
She also faced charges of damaging the same person's driveway, and sending a nuisance text message.
The 54-year-old is charged with one count of criminal damage to driveway paving of an estimated value of £200; one of threatening to damage or destroy drains, intending the threat to cause fear; and one of sending a text message to cause annoyance, inconvenience, or needless anxiety.
O’Neill pleaded not guilty to all three charges and chose to be tried at Chester Crown Court before a judge and jury, against her solicitor's advice.
She will appear there on Friday, May 19, at 10am, for a pre-trial preparation hearing, and was released on unconditional bail until then.
