THE construction firm working on a 205-home development in Winsford has entered administration.
Lane End Developments Construction Ltd, headquartered in Warrington, posted a notice on its website announcing the news.
Jeremy Woodside and Frank Ofonagoro, of Quantuma Advisory Ltd, have been appointing as joint administrators.
The firm is currently partnering with Jigsaw Homes on the 205-unit Wharton Road development in Winsford, as well as with Weaver Vale on a 46-unit development off New Road.
Lane End, which was in takeover talks in February in a bid to appoint an administrator, is also involved in the 215-unit Weaver Meadows project at Rilshaw Lane with Laurus Homes.
Announcing the news on their website, a Lane End spokesman said: "On April 4, the directors of Lane End Developments Construction Limited placed the company into administration and appointed Jeremy Woodside and Frank Ofonagoro of Quantuma Advisory Limited as Joint Administrators."
The construction firm has built more than 1,100 homes in the north west, according to its website, and it is believed to employ around 100 members of staff.
It as also completed projects in Warrington, bringing more than 100 affordable homes to Academy Way in October last year.
