A BURGLAR who targeted five businesses in Northwich during a 16-day spree has had his sentence delayed.
Jonathan Heron appeared at Chester Crown Court via video link from HMP Altcourse earlier today (March 27) to learn his fate.
The 46-year-old had pleaded guilty five counts of burglary at an earlier hearing on November 29 last year.
The court heard Heron entered Fat Dog Retail, Spencer Street, on February 7, intending to steal.
He then targeted After Five in Station Road, some time between February 17 and 20, before burgling Feathers and Cink Hair Salon in Witton Street between February 20 and 23.
Also between February 20 and 23, Heron burgled Care UK - previously of Chesterway - in the town.
At today's hearing, Judge Simon Berkson adjourned the case until Monday, April 3, for the court to get sight of a pre-sentence psychiatric report.
