A SALON in Winnington has taken home the Therapist of the Year title from a French skincare brand’s awards night.

Linzi Rogerson from Beauty at the Avenue has won the Matis Therapist of the Year award for her hard work and dedication, especially coming back from the impact of a global pandemic.

Linzi, whose salon is located in Stephenson Street, has been working in the beauty industry since the year 2000 and already has previous awards under her belt, including Matis Regional Beauty Therapist in 2008, Matis National Therapist in 2015 and Matis North West Salon in 2016.

Beauty at the Avenue stocks the Matis professional skincare range, OPI natural nail care and Bio sculpture gel nail system, plus more beauty services.

Lynzi said: “I am so excited to have received such a recognition from Matis Paris.

“It has been an amazing year working which such an esteemed skincare brand.

“I wouldn’t have done it without the continuous help and support of the Matis UK team and continued support from my loyal clientele.”

Matis said the Therapist of the Year award was the outcome of 'hard work and dedication', especially coming back from the impact of a global pandemic.
