DRONE photography is all about capturing images of communities from new heights and offering a unique perspective on local areas.
And this is exactly what Nathan Lever wants to achieve after setting up Cheshire Eye in the Sky.
He has many unique images of Northwich and surrounding areas, which are captured using a drone, and is keen to share these with others.
Nathan said: “I have always had a love for photography and technology, and with a drone it combines both worlds, making a flying camera.
“The places I went to as a teenager can be seen from a whole new perspective, and it also highlights areas of land and helps outline the surrounding history.
“I have taken mostly landscape photos, some of which I have passed to people to help raise awareness, such as saving a playing field from a housing development, and also pictures for the history of the Daniel Adamson steamship.”
Nathan now wants to provide freelance work, as well as using his footage to connect the community with pictures and videos.
“I have passed civil aviation authority training and look forward to further improvement of my skills as time goes on, going to new places and learning new things,” he said.
“I enjoy planning each flight, making sure it is carried out safely, legally and efficiently, and then returning home with unique pictures, able to show people views from their local area.”
Nathan passed his training last year and quickly fell in love with drone photography.
He explained: “From July up until Christmas, I went absolutely everywhere and got lots of footage of things.
“I’ve realised I really enjoyed doing it.
“It’s a different perspective, I enjoy showing people views they wouldn’t usually see.”
He has been to many places to take pictures, including Acton Bridge, Blakemere Craft Centre, Anderton Boat Life, Marbury Park, Tatton Park, Beeston Castle, Peckforton Castle, Chester Racecourse, plus many events, such as firework displays, music festivals and more.
“I am planning on building up ‘Cheshire Eye in the Sky’ as a business to hopefully do it as a full time career,” Nathan added.
