CHESHIRE is full of hair and beauty salons transforming, treating and pampering their customers so they shine from head to toe with a new-found confidence.
Our feature – Meet The Salon Owner – gives business owners and managers the chance to shine a spotlight on their salon and showcase some of their best work.
Here in our latest feature, Emma Oleszczuk, who is 40, tells us what it’s been like running a salon for 15 years, how they survived the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdowns and why it’s important to keep up with growing trends.

Tell me a bit about your salon/business. What do you do? What services do you provide?
We pride ourselves on a friendly environment. We all give one hundred per cent and regularly go above and beyond to accommodate our clients. We use quality, high-end products such as Redken and GHD. They provide us with training in a growing and ever-changing industry.
Why did you decide to open your own salon?
I always knew I wanted to run my own business and hoped that I could create a salon environment that everyone would feel confident to walk into – a one-stop shop for all hair and beauty needs. The team just love making people “walk taller” after a visit.

How did the Covid-19 pandemic affect your business?
The hardest time for the salon came with the pandemic. To be shut for an unknown length of time was very difficult. Opening again was overwhelming especially with all the social distancing rules and having to wear PPE. Seeing all our wonderful clients again was great and when the rules relaxed with masks being discarded we all got to see actual smiles!
What’s next? What do the next few months hold for you and your salon?
The goal for this year is to boost our social media profile and we are introducing a new treatment – stay tuned for what that is!
