A WINSFORD salon is ‘over the moon’ to win not just one, but two awards at a special industry awards night.

JAXX Hair and Beauty, located at Ribble Place, was named Hair Salon of the Year at the English Hair and Beauty Awards – an evening celebrating the very best in the hair and beauty industries.

Carrie Jackson is the salon owner, with the team including Georgina Weedman, Leah Barlow, Steph Davison and Kiera Gordon.

Carrie said: “Our amazing clients voted for us and gave their reasons as to why they felt we should win the award. 

“The support we received from everyone was incredible and we will be forever thankful for all of the continued kindness from our clients.”

This award had a winner for each region of the north west and then an overall winner – with the team going home as double champions.

“The other salons in our category are brilliant, so the competition was strong,” Carrie said.

“We couldn’t believe it when we won our region, and then we won the overall award too.

“This was truly overwhelming and we’re absolutely over the moon.

“For us, it just confirms we are providing our clients with the experience we want them to have.

“Our team works so hard to ensure this; they are all so passionate about what they do and winning these awards gives them the recognition they deserve. I couldn’t be prouder.”

JAXX opened its doors in November 2019 and has won multiple awards since, including Best Customer Service, Local Salon of the Year, Hair Salon of the Year and Hair and Beauty Salon of the Year.

The salon provides a variety of hair and beauty services that are bespoke to each guest, from cuts, colours and styling to hair extensions.

It also has facial waxing, brow laminations and lash extensions.
