A SALON owner is hoping to put a smile on people’s faces in Winsford after hiding vouchers for haircuts around the town.

Leeanne Forsey, who owns Guyz n Dollz salon in Rilshaw Lane, has hidden 10 vouchers around Winsford to entitle the finder to a free haircut.

She hopes her kind gesture will boost someone’s day.

“We are calling them our 'random acts of kindness' vouchers,” Leeanne explained.

“In the current financial circumstances, we know people are struggling so the idea is to bring a little bit of happiness to people and make them smile.

“We like to give back to the community and we know people loving finding things like this, it’s more exciting and different than just giving the vouchers away.”

Two people have already contacted the salon after finding a voucher and Leeanne can’t wait to meet them.

But that’s not the only thing she has planned.

Today, Friday, Leeanne and another member of the salon staff are going to purchase flowers and hand them out to people in the town.

“It’s nice to make people smile,” Leeanne added.
