ALL lanes have now reopened on the M6 after a crash involving two HGVs and a car.
Lanes one and two were shut causing six miles of congestion.
The collision happened between junction 18 for Middlewich and 17 for Sandbach.
Police were called shortly after 8.20am on Thursday.
The crash involved three vehicles, two HGVs and a silver Honda Civic.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: "There were no reports of any injuries and no arrests were made."
National Highways has confirmed that the vehicles involved in the crash have now been recovered and the carriageway is cleared.
All lanes have now reopened.
There is still a lot of congestion in the area with travel time around 35 minutes.
