FIREFIGHTERS rescued a dog marooned near Vale Royal Locks in Northwich.
Lexi had fallen into the water and was stuck on a ledge and out of reach near to the lock gate at Davenham.
Crews were called shortly before midday on Thursday, December 29 and used a raft to reach her and returned the dog to its owner.

On social media, spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service posted: “Crews rescued Lexi who had fallen in and was stuck on a ledge by Vale Royal Locks.
“She was handed over to her very thankful owners fit and well, but just a little wet and worn out!”
