A FRIGHTENED cat has been rescued after being stuck in a tree for three days.
Firefighters were alerted to the animal’s predicament by the RSPCA shortly after 2pm on Wednesday, December 28.
The cat had been stuck in a tree on Birch Avenue in Winsford since Christmas Day.

A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “A crew from Winsford was able to use a seven metre ladder to reach the cat and bring it safely back to earth.
“It was handed into the care of its owner.”
