WINSFORD residents can get their fix of sausage rolls and steak bakes after a new Greggs shop opened in the town.
This morning, the popular bakery chain welcomed customers through the doors of its new branch in Road One, on the Winsford Industrial Estate.
The new shop will be selling the usual freshly-prepared favourites, including their vegan alternatives, for those looking to grab a bit on the go.
Customers will also be able to make 'Click + Collect' orders via the Greggs app for collection at the store.
The opening of the new branch has also created 10 new jobs in the area.
Gillian Long, retail operations director for Greggs, said: "Our new shop in Winsford has brought 10 new jobs to the local area, as well as providing customers with a modern, convenient new place to experience their favourite Greggs food."
The Winsford shop opens with a fresh new look and will be open 7am to 4pm daily.
The location also includes a Nuttall Unit so customers can purchase some of Greggs hot items such as southern fried chicken goujons and potato wedges.
Any further jobs created at the Winsford shop will be posted on the greggsfamily.co.uk/ website.
