A 43-YEAR-OLD man is set to be sentenced after admitting drink driving and resisting police officers in Northwich.
Andrew Hardman, of Chestnut Grove in Barnton, was caught driving a Jaguar along Hayes Drive in the town on April 26 while twice the drink-drive limit.
He gave a reading of 76 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the prescribed limit of 35 microgrammes.
The same day, he resisted a sergeant and a police constable in the execution of their duties.
Appearing in Chester Magistrates Court on December 15, magistrates heard Hardman pleaded guilty to the offences on May 17.
However, the sentencing date was pushed back to allow magistrates to ‘consider if there are special reasons for not ordering an endorsement or disqualification’.
Hardman’s next court appearance will be at Crewe Magistrates Court on April 19, 2023.
