DRIVERS were alarmed to see a car being driven on the M6 without a tyre.
North West Motorway Police found the vehicle being driven on its rim.
Police were alerted by concerned motorists who dialled 999 to report a silver Vauxhall Corsa being driven on the motorway with a damaged front bumper and a missing tyre on the offside rear of the four-door car.
Police stopped the car on Saturday, December 3, at junction 18 near Middlewich.
The motorist was arrested for being under the influence of drugs, driving a vehicle unfit for the road and possession with intent to supply drugs.
The vehicle was seized.
