ST Luke’s Hospice is hosting its Christmas fair this weekend - its first since 2019.

Described as the ‘biggest ever’, the fair will be held at Winsford Academy on Saturday, November 26, between 10am and 2pm.

It’s a great opportunity to start your Christmas shopping, with stalls selling everything from handmade gifts, handbags and body care products to liqueurs and books.

The event description adds: “There will also be festive refreshments available including a stall by the Cheshire Pie Company and real ales, plus our popular tombola and raffle.

“There will be plenty to keep the kids entertained with a craft corner and activities, and of course Father Christmas will be making a special appearance.

“Entry is free and there is lots of parking available, so please come along, meet our nurses, browse the stalls and support your local hospice this Christmas.”

Since 1988, St Luke’s has been providing palliative care to residents, supporting them in ways which go ‘beyond the scope and funding of the NHS’.

The hospice is a charity and nearly 85 per cent of its care is funded by donations.
